March 22, 2012 is my only younger sisters 22nd birthday, so Babe and I decided to treat her out together with our cousin Miah. We stroll around SM City Cebu looking for a place to dine when we decided to eat at Bigby’s Café and Restaurant. The place is not new to us since babe and I are a fan of their tasty food.

 

About Bigby’s

At first I thought the restaurant is owned by an American because of the decoration and interior of the place in which most of it is with the USA trademarks. A friend has told me that Bigby’s started from Cagayan De Oro City last December 8, 1998. The idea of the restaurant came from a long time dream of three friends Henrik Kelly Yu, Joanna Cris Yu and Catherine Genabe who would want to create a restaurant with an atmosphere of different cuisines around the world. Fine dining and fast-casual dining is the concept of the restaurant.

 

 

The Food

I am not really an adventurous eater. I just eat those foods I know and in places where I am comfortable and Bigby’s is one of those restaurants not just I like, but babe as well.

Bigby’s Price

Bigby’s has reasonable price on their menu. Often times we did not pay as much as 2,500 pesos and with that food above we have taken home some because we are already full.

Extra Service

One of the things I like Bigby’s is that they give value to customer celebrating their natal day so babe told the waitress that we has someone who is celebrating her birthday and just before we finish our dinner a group of Bigby’s employee happily came at our table to sing a birthday song to my younger sister and gave her Bigby’s birthday delight.
