About Bohol’s Mirror of the World
Sikatuna’s Mirror of the World owner Mr. Jan Yngvar Kolsto and Mrs. Ann Dulogan Kolsto converted this 3.2-hectare farmland into a beautiful park that caters famous statues and structures from around the world mirrored into a scaled-down version that is inspired by the couples travel.
Bagan is an ancient city in Myanmar. There are about over 10,000 Buddhist temples, pagodas, and monasteries built between the 11th and 13th centuries in the city. Presently there are over 2200 temples and pagodas still survive.
Bohol may seem a simple province, well it actually is but because of its beauty, local and foreign tourist flock the province and this gives opportunity to rise luxurious boutique resort and one of this not known to many is ” The Peacock Garden”.

It is a European-themed boutique resort in Upper Laya, 6301 Baclayon, Bohol. 20 km. away from the airport and port of Tagbilaran City. It is owned by a German national Hans Schoof, and her Filipina wife Lanie Schoof a native from Alburquerque Bohol. The owner’s son Frederick Christian Schoof manages the resort.

I never thought that this year would be a year of travel for me. This is the 3rd long journey I had and the second land trip here in my country, first was the Manila to Cebu Land Trip. Our route for this trip was Ilocos Norte – Ilocos Sur – Mt. Province (via Tagudin – Cervantes Road) – Ifugao Province to Benguet Province. Let me share to you how babe and I did it. I am one blessed person able to have a chance going on a 5 day land trip Manila to Cebu. Part of the itinerary is visiting an island in Northern Samar that is new to me, wait I only knew few major islands in the country how much more little islands in each region. What is land trip?
A land trip is traveling through any land transportation. In the case of our country, the Philippines that consists of various islands, riding a boat is considered a part of a long land trip.
I went to Baguio together with some Cebu and Manila based bloggers for the BX3 Tour “Bloggers Baguio Benguet Appreciation Tour” to witness Baguio’s Panagbenga Festival 2013 and to visit the many attractions of the city of Pines.
We stayed at Azalea Residences Baguio, a hotel at the center of Baguio City located at Leonard Wood Road, Baguio City. The hotel is a 5 minutes’ walk from Northern Gate of Teacher’s Village ( it’s just across it), 10-15 minutes drive (including traffic) from session road, SM Baguio and Burnham Park.
