Cebu City, despite being a metropolis, prides itself on breathtaking trails that will make you wonder if you are still in the same city.
The Budlaan to Sirao Peak trail is one of the most beautiful trails I’ve seen in Cebu City. It includes a river trek, an assault hike, several waterfalls along the way, a panoramic view of the Butuanon River, and a scenic meadow of Mt. Kan Irag.
Did I also mention that this is a beginner-friendly Cebu trail? – Yes, I’ll say it again: the Budlaan to Mt. Kan-Irag trail is a beginner-friendly trail, or, to put it another way, a trail for beginning hikers in Cebu.
BUT, it is highly recommended that you hike Budlaan to Mt. Kan-Irag trail with friends who have hiked in this area or join a day hike group. I strongly advise to look into DHT Cebu (Day Hike Therapists). You can join them in trailblazing Cebu’s fantastic hiking trails and mountains for as little as a donation to the group’s current beneficiary.
