“Recognizing the Effort of Men, Women and Organization in Giving Change to the Community”
Since 1996, through the RAFI Triennial Awards, the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) has recognized–and will continue to recognize–the efforts of individuals and institutions in enhancing the quality of life of various groups and communities.
The RAFI Triennial Awards
It honors men, women and organizations who, through their efforts to bring about change and better the lives of the less-privileged, reflect the philanthropic, humanitarian and holistic ideals and values of the RAFI founders, Don Ramon Aboitiz and Don Eduardo Aboitiz.
Choose from Two Categories
1. Ramon Aboitiz Award for Exemplary Individual
Open to every Filipino at least 30 years old, of good moral character whose dedication to his/her profession has advanced the well-being of his/her fellows.
Criteria:
* Foster respect for the dignity of person through philanthropic and selfless deeds.
* Initiated and/or implemented programs for the less privileged and created lasting impact on their lives.
* Demonstrates industriousness, integrity, leadership, and initiative.
* Exhibits selfless commitment and dedication to uplift the socio-economic condition of the poor and the marginalized.
* Demonstrates pro-Filipino and pro-God values.
2. Eduardo Aboitiz Awards for Outstanding Institution
Open to all institutions established at least three years with functional programs that have built dedicated partnership with other groups in bringing about comprehensive and responsible development
Criteria:
* Exhibits leadership in responsible development; serves as catalyst of change.
* Developed strong partnership with government, non-government, civic, and people’s organizations, and other groups in bringing about desired, holistic, societal change.
* Established self-reliant communities whose values are responsive to well-being of their members through the process of participation, capacity and institutional building, people empowerment and gender equality.

1. Download nomination form – www.rafi.org.ph/triennialawards and send to Ramon Aboitiz Foundation INc., 35 Lopez Jaena Street, Cebu City 6000.
2. Nominate online – : www.rafi.org.ph/event/nomination-form.
3. Text nominee’s full name, contact details, and name of the person nominating to the following numbers 0933-5144005, 0949-7643525 and 0927-5768055.
Self nomination is discouraged. Deadline of nomination is on December 15, 2013.
